Moving efficiently and safely through the community is a priority we all share. Increasingly, people are asking for transportation alternatives that are more affordable and healthier. For too long, cities have been designed with the car in mind, and this hasn’t provided people with the transportation options they need today and as their lives change. That’s why I’m focused on advancing a range of mobility improvements that will make it easier for everyone to get around — regardless of how you choose to travel.

Since being elected Mayor we have:

  • Delivered RapidBus (R2) across the North Shore
  • Secured extension of the R2 from Phibbs Exchange to Metrotown starting September 2026, 4 months early
  • Continued to plan Bus Rapid Transit and community engagement is complete
  • Secured increased Seabus service, increased HandyDart service, and a new rapid bus connection between Lynn Valley and Lonsdale
